Swaden @ 17/09/2009 05:10pm We have been using hte new sliver Watershield discs, and while they are not really silver (more like mother of pearl) thew do look amazing. the disc is reflective and seems to bounce back a lot of energy. very nice. I dont think my clients will choose anything else now. Thanks to Tom here at CD-writer for introducing me to this product. SlipNot @ 04/02/2009 05:04pm Taiyo Yuden watershield discs are great for full color hi res photo printing. If you want to inpress your customers and dont have expensive thermal printers these will do thre trick. for sure tehy are water resistant, you can run the under the tap or drop them in the bath and they will dry with minimal color bleed. We notice that there might be fraction of a mm of white round the outer of the disc, and some printers dont seem to print a black darker than a dark grey. They seem to work better for solid filled areas than normal inkjet discs, there is certainly less banding. Recommended.
