PLA is becoming increasing popular for additive 3D printer operators. Made from plant material it may be that PLA proves to be a healthier more environmentally friendly option. PLA has a lower melt point than ABS so it can be tricky getting as good result as can be achieved with ABS across the full spectrum of printers.
